Subject: Not the Complete Book
Subject: Not the Complete Book
This file is not the complete book (or even close), and the formatting of the file is extremely confusing (especially the page numbering).
Here are two ... alternate versions. They are both imperfect, but at least they appear to be complete:
1) https://archive.org/details/in.ernet.dli.2015.283716/
2) https://archive.org/details/sacredbooksofthehindusvol11samkhyaphilosophynandalalsinha1915_202002/
In #1, the first few pages of the introduction are cut off on the edges, so words are missing. I don't know about the rest of the book; most of the pages look fine. At first glance it seems like a much better copy than #2, and in some regards it is, but often it is nearly unreadable, whereas the words are much more legible in #2. Unfortunately, the file size of #2 is over 400 MB, as opposed to about 40 MB for #1. (The "PDF WITH TEXT" download option for #2 is less than 200 MB and still readable but not quite as good as the full size version.)
Finally, here is a very good copy of just the introduction alone, which I only include here in case someone wants to make an improved copy by splicing together parts from various files:

I really like this publishing house. A very high-quality translation helps to understand important topics, especially regarding psychology. The publishing
...
house Mahadeva Vedantin became a big discovery for me even in college, I spent a lot of time writing an essay on this topic, so I can say that I will devote my new doctoral work with the help of the reference to this particular department. Thanks a lot to University of Toronto Publishing - Robarts Library
